I love this time of year! Sundance is such a fun event to work. I wish I could show you guys more of what goes on up there but they have such strict rules about having cameras and even camera phones in the lounges and at the parties. This year we were working as celebrity ambassadors in the Red Carpet Lounge. A celebrity Ambassador basically just means that when the guests come into the lounge we show them around, hang out with them, and help them find all the gifts J I was a little nervous because we all know about my Morgan Freeman and then Michal Jordan incident. I NEVER recognize celebs when I should. Luckily I had no problems this year and got to meet some great people. We went to a mansion party with the most amazing catering I have ever tasted and were invited to stay there next year. We are pretty ecstatic about that because this year the closest hotel we could find was in Kamas and last night a moose was traipsing around in our back yard so we couldn’t go out for a few hours. Had to pay for parking all over again. $20 can you believe it?! If you come to Sundance I really recommend getting a driver…or being filthy rich. We had a lot of cool people come through the lounge and got invited to plenty of parties. It was pretty tiring but well worth it. BANKSY WAS THERE!!!!!! To most of you that means nothing but I'll tell you as soon as I saw the art I was flipping out!

I have been on quite a few disaster dates, but then again havent we all? Instead of telling you a horror story I'll tell you a story about a time I got out of what would have been a horrible date. Myabe it can help save you some day. 

I got stuck going out on a blind with this kid that I had only seen a picture of once. My friend swore he was a "neat" guy and that I would have lots of fun because he drove a spyder. She apparently doesnt know me at all because I dont really care about cars, and I really dont like listening to shallow guys talk about how great their car is. When he called to set up the date he couldnt stop bragging about all the money he had. I am a simple kind of girl so that was a big turn off for me. I was dreading the date and kept trying to think of a way to get out of it without seeming like a total jerk (now I find its easier just to nicely tell them I'm not interested but I was young cut me some slack!) My sister had this completly "sweet spirited" locker partner that no one was very fond of. She had given my sister a giant picture of herself as a symbol of their new friendship. Looking at those geek glasses, magnified eyes, and frizzy hair I got a brilliant idea. I told my sister that when the guy got there she needed to take the picture of Gretchen Dowdell upstairs to him and tell him I was out and running late but that I had told her to show him my picture and keep him entertained til I got back.

The door bell rings and my gorgeous blonde sister answers. I'm sure he was quite impressed. She invited him in a relayed the story. He seemed ok with it at first until he saw the picture. He was just as shallow as I predicted. He kept trying to hint around, asking my sister how old the picture was and if I looked more like her, etc. etc. She assured him that the photo was recent and dead on. He quickly excused himself saying he was going to run to the gas station and come right back but he never did. Dodged that bullet! I wouldnt want to go out with a guy like that!

I have been modeling for other companies and getting screwed over so many times I finally got smart and decided to start my own company. I learned the business side of things through watching how the others did it and learned the rest online and in books. I started Knockouts as my first team ever. We were strictly for hire as ring girls in Las Vegas and we did a little bit of modeling on the side. We started getting requests for a few shoots and car shows and I was pretty happy about it. I moved back to Utah and was really worried that it would kill business but my team actually expanded into modeling, car shows, photo shoots, film, and radio. Its bigger than I imagined it would be! I love being in charge and knowing that these girls can work without worrying that someone is going to screw them over. My team is my family and I love them

Have you ever had that one person that really intrigues you? Its like you have been sitting for years, watching people come and go from your life and none of them really hold your attention and then one day you meet someone briefly and there is that pull of curiosity. Wanting to see if they really are everything they seem to be. I'm not deeply in love with this person and quite frankly I dont know if they are even the type of person I would want to love, but I wish I had the opportunity to find out if they are really as fun as they seem to be.

I would wish for a day or even a lunch with that person where we could just sit and discuss ideas and interests and debate a bit.

I started off this morning with a lot of caffinated hot chocolate. I can't stand coffee. Alexa started my hair at 5 am. I'm sure she wanted to kill me for not letting her sleep in but she has a lot to do today too. As soon as she was finished with my hair I ran over to Dexter's art show at the gallery. Gotta be supportive. I made sure I was the classy sophisticated friend that was charming and polite. See I can turn it on when I need to   As soon as it was over I had to run home quick to get ready for rehearsal. While we were at the stop light Alexa handed me a bottle of orange juice. I thought that was sweet of her. Right when I took the lid off and started to drink it the light turned green and she took off so it spilled all over me

Tonight was SO rough! Remind me to kill Anthony for scheduling me to do so many things at once AND all at the same time almost. I went to Rumors early to get ready for the chaos party. There was a fashion show starting at 10 then a dance routine at 11 and go-go til 2. So I did my model thing. You would not believe how fast I can dress, undress, and get dressed again in something else. I could be a firewoman...or a magician's assistant or something lol I changed straight from fashion show clothes to dance outfit and did the routine. Thankfully I'm not on go-go duty tonight. They had Tier and Marie take over and I booked it out of there.

The next party was a masquerade at Pearl. It's so tiny in there. I don't really like dancing for Pearl very much. It's kind of Lexa's place not mine but she's working bliss tonight so I didn't see her til Livin Loud. ANYWAY, I was on go-go so I did a set from 11 to midnight. Wanna know the best part?! It was a masquerade so the go-go's were wearing masks! I traded places with Alexis at midnight and no one even noticed. I feel like the prince and the pauper or a super spy or something lol She has wanted to do go-go forever but didn't know how to get into it. I told her I'd give her the money I would have made if she would fill in for me and she agreed. We are so scandalous sometimes. I made it to the livin loud party in time to cover the 12-2 shift....well 12:30 but it's not my fault no one counted in drive time! I helped them raise hell per usual and kept that party going til 6 in the morning. Now I'm home and I must be on my second wind or still hyped up on caffiene because I'm not really tired yet. I think I'm going to go try to get some sleep or clean or something. Talk to you guys later.

I'm getting all dolled up for my photo shoot today. What kind of sets do you all want to see me do? I had my first belly dancing class this morning with Jenna and Brooke. I thought it would be really hard but it's a lot like hula mixed with go-go dancing. I'll probably post some videos eventually but not while I am still just learning. I am SOOO booked tommorrow night! I'm kind of nervous. I wonder if I should just start drinking the energy drinks now.... I am quadruple booked. That's right dear friends, I have to work four events tommorrow. Not only would it be hotter if I had a twin but it would also be really useful right now. Good thing I'm such a pro at what I do right
