I couldn’t sleep last night so I was exhausted for work today. I tried to pack my stuff the night before so it would be a little smoother getting out the door today. The drive was still forever long and parking sucked because there were cops everywhere and none of them had any idea what was going on. I finally parked and found the truck where I was supposed to be working.  The on site manager, who we’ll call bt, was soo hot! When I first walked up I was thinking “I hope that’s the guy I work with all weekend.” And then when he introduced himself I was excited to learn that he was in fact going to be working with me ALL weekend yesss! Lol He smiled and wow I was one smitten kitten I just heard that expression and haven’t had the chance to use it yet. We had to move the truck down to another spot that was busier so I jumped in and we were sitting kind of quiet. This cop told him he couldn’t get into the event without a pass and bt was getting really annoyed because we were in a massive branded truck and our empty spot was right in front of us with huge signs that had the same logo all over them. Finally we got through but then he had to talk to some guy so he just left me sitting there with the truck running in the middle of this dead end. It took FOREVER. I was sitting there awkwardly wondering what I should do and also thinking that even though bt was hot he seemed like kind of a douche. Trying to distract myself I got out my sun block to put some on my face but when I opened the lid the dumb thing exploded everywhere. Lol he got back just as I wiped away the last of it from the dash.

We got our spot and it was slow going at first. There weren’t a lot of people and it was really boring. So we started talking and I learned a lot of things about him. Number one being that he has a little bit of an accent and it’s adorable. 2 I love his laugh. It’s part of what lead me to the decision I made later that day. And 3 he is a really interesting person. Anyway, we were kind of flirting back and forth a little bit at a time trying to feel each other out.

At the end of the day we were packing up and I was pretty much no help at all. I couldn’t lift anything heavy and I was smacking things around but he was nice about it. He is responsible for the truck the entire tour so he drives it from one event to the next and that’s how he gets around when he is in other areas. The problem was, other vendors had blocked us in so he couldn’t get the truck out. The guy said he would have to leave the truck for the weekend so bt would have had to call a cab to get back to his hotel. I ended up giving him a ride back to his hotel and we sat outside talking for a while. Then he asked me if I wanted to come upstairs and offered to let me use the other bed in his room so I could save money on gas and get more sleep time in the morning. Staying the night with a hot guy definitely sounded appealing and the fact that I only had to drive 15 min the next day instead of 2 hours sounded even better but I had to turn him down because I didn’t have any of my stuff for the shoot the next day.

OMG I’m so annoyed!!! So I worked this promo a few months ago for a well-known brand and I did a really good job. They were doing another event this weekend so the lady called me to see if I would come back and do another one. I liked it a lot so I would have said yes anyway but when she said 10-hour shifts at $20 an hour I said yes without even asking any questions. What a dumb freakin idea! I was already booked to shoot Saturday and Sunday this week. Being me, I thought I could handle it. Most days I think I’m like wonder woman (oh how I wish!) and that I can do a million things all at once, no problem. Not to mention I worked direct tv for long hours yesterday and the day before. Since the promo was supposed to be today through Saturday, I figured I would work everyday and then shoot Sunday. The only over lapping day was Saturday so I thought I would just leave straight from work and show up a bit late. I shoot fast anyway so I thought I could catch up with them. Well I got up at 5 this morning to be to Park City by 7. I drove all the way there and was almost late because my paper with the address blew out the car window. Right when I got there I called the onsite manager and he said there had been a mix up. The event isn’t until tomorrow! I have to come back Friday, sat, Sunday. That means I have to get up super early to make the 2 hour drive, work all day in the hot sun, then leave straight from there and go to my shoots and try to look fresh and beautiful, then drive another 2 hours to get home in the middle of the night. When that is all done I have to wake up way early in the morning and do it all over again :-/ FML why did I do this to myself?

I worked today. It was one of those days. I locked the keys in the car, bought the wrong stuff at the store and forgot a few things. I’m usually so much more efficient so it’s really bugging me that I’m not up to par lately. I’m spreading myself too thin probably. Anyway, after work we went out to eat. My boss is nice like that. Chick-fil-a always makes me a happy girl. I’m not going to get involved with all the controversy that is going on with it right now. I got some new clothes from a really sweet guy. I want to wear them now but it’s been so hot outside that it just isn’t the right time yet. He bought me two glamour kills hoodies (dreamers never say die and no regrets) , a one shoulder belted shirt, and some jeans. I am surprised he found some in a size zero that were actually long enough. That is hard to find!  I’ll do a little photo fashion show for you all later. Anyway, dead tired so ttyl

I went out shopping with Jenna today. She is mad at herself for buying these rugs that were really cute but she says they are LA style and that no one here is on that vibe or something. I liked them. I got more bracelets that I really don’t need but I love them. I found the sandals I want so I am also pretty happy about that. Ohhhh, and my knives came today Brooke and Andy got me new throwing knives for my birthday. Of course  the second she came over we went outside to test them out. I’m not bad with these ones but Brooke is a little scary. It’s a good thing we have a big yard! We played with them until the sun went down, then we tried to play by flashlight. It didn't work out very well. In the dark I picked up what I thought was my knife but then it felt like dry dog crap or something so I freaked out! Brooke put the flashlight on it and thankfully it was just a chunk of tree bark. After that little heart attack moment I was done for the night! Maybe I’ll do some pictures or video sometime and show them to you guys when I get a little better with them.

I was supposed to go to the lake this morning with everyone but I didn't know what time they were going and my rooster alarm didn't go off today. I hate missing a chance to go boating. I love boating so much I think I might get a houseboat someday (not our current houseboat) and live on it for a little while to test it out. Anyway, long story short I missed boating and wakeboarding

I had to run to pick up the client passes for that huge car show we have coming up in August. It's going to be pretty awesome. We're givin out t-shirts, hats, branded sunglasses (aviator and the neon side kind) and a bunch of other stuff. The girls will be doing fan photos and an autograph sess half way through the day. We've got clothes to sell and you'll be able to see sneak peeks of the film footage we have been working so hard on all this time.... it's just going to be cool. So I went and picked those up. The shop was closed today so I had to go to the guy's house. First I would like to say that his roommates are some sexy guys  One guy came back late (they were having a bbq) and had his mom with him. She was the cutest lady. She had great style and she only hugs people so there was no hand shaking going on. This guy is way fun to hang out with. Not going to lie though he has some strange quirks lol I showed up to his house and this dude was literally wearin light blue care bear slippers and an "I love coney island" t-shirt. I ended up spending like 2 hours over there with them when it was supposed to be 5 min. He's way cool though. I would hang out with those guys any time.

I made it home just in time to meet up with Brooke and Andy for the drive in. We watched Ted and then Brave and then the last quarter of Savages. Ted is pretty funny. I wish he was my bear  Brave....meh. The mom is a pretty funny bear though. She acts just like my grandma so me and Brooke were laughing pretty hard. Savages was kind of dumb but maybe you had to see the whole thing? Blake Lively is cool though so I didn't hate it. Now it's off to bed since I work tommorrow. Oh! good news  we just got a new studio location so I'll be shooting a ton next month which means lots of new photo updates.

I had a lot of fun at the rodeo last night but I was so beat I didn't want to get up this morning. My phone is still set to the rooster alarm and I don't know how to change it yet. This morning I woke up confused wondering how a rooster got in my room  Anyway I tested out my new homemade sea spray (you can check out the video tutorial on how to make it at youtube.com/untamedandijames

Monster Energy hosts the wake up event once a year at pineview and it is one of my favorite events to go to. Wakeology was there, of course, so I got to hang out with all of them for a bit. I was supposed to shoot first but I did a little bit of filming for Monster and then helped out over at the Rockwell tent. When it finally came time to shoot we went to this specific spot to shoot in this tree but it wasn't there anymore  The water has gone down so much that the tree which was in the water last year is now about 20 feet from the shore line. We had to settle for shooting out of the water. I was bummed because I really liked the tree idea. Maybe I'll try and shoot it somewhere else.

I met the guys from the new MTV show wake brothers. It doesn't air until August 20 but I saw the trailer for it and I am way excited for it. I'm such a wake nerd  Boating, boarding, and hanging out with the guys was a great way to end the week. I was supposed to go watch fire works in the mountains/valley tonight but after I got home and changed into normal clothes it looked kind of rainy. I didn't want to drive all the way to Brigham only to get rained out.I ended up going to volleyball with the group instead. It was fun hanging out and we had interesting conversation as usual. We always end up on the weirdest subjects. Tonight it was how terrifying wet koalas are, and how it would be possible to ride a cow if the end of the world were to come ( old school with a carrot and a stick). I have another busy day tommorrow. Oh and St. Louis had auditions today for the new Untamed team out there. I can't wait to hear all about it. I'll keep you guys updated on how it goes.

Tbl was staying at this house that was big and kind of secluded. We knew where it was, so we went over there and snuck into their party. Me, Jenna, Alexa, and Brooke split up and at first they didn’t notice we were there. Then people started leaving and we got caught, Dave was flirting a ton. At one point he was talking and put his hands kind of on my hips and kept getting really close. I started backing up because it was awkward.  That’s what caught Ben and Duncan’s attention. They both looked pissed or concerned or something. Dave asked if we wanted to go upstairs and Duncan interrupted and said we couldn’t because we were just leaving because we had to go to Denver. We weren’t going to Denver but the way he said it made it clear that staying was NOT an option. So we went out front and we were going to leave but people started showing up again and Jenna was set on finding out what was going on. We snuck back in and went upstairs since it seemed like he was hiding something up there but all we saw were dark rooms. We looked into the first room because the door was open. The light was off but we could see a girl sitting there on this futon and we could hear Duncan talking to her so we flattened against the wall so they couldn’t see us. We quietly snuck back down stairs to the middle level of the house. No one was there so we went into the basement and crawled down this hallway. There was a big open room with a long conference room type table and huge screens on the wall. They could watch movies on it or link the laptops to it to create huge computer screens. It was blank on the screens except for a message saying something about computer cable being unplugged or plug in to link computer or something like that.  Jenna nodded because she knew what I was thinking. They had been spying on our blog. We could see the screen size they were using and we thought it was weird someone would use such a huge screen to look at a tumblr page. At the other side of the room there was an opening into another big room. Kinda like it had been one massive room initially and then someone had added a wall. There was no door. Moving on to that room there was a pool table at the far end and some couches at the back and a foosball table. The room had been set up like a make shift theatre with lots of rows of chairs and people sitting around watching on a projector. We crawled behind all of them and hid behind the foosball table. Duncan was at the back of the group in chair a few feet away from us. I didn’t see Jonnie anywhere (maybe he is still off in dream land trying to touch that stupid poison tree) and Ben was at the far right side of the room standing and kind of away from the group at the pool table. Dave was like, smack dab in the center of the crowd chatting it up and laughing loudly. People looked like they were having a good time. Duncan’s duffle bag that had some film footage and scripts and stuff in it. The bag was right in front of us so we were trying to peek inside. The whole group was watching season 3 footage (before it came out) so we watched for a little while. Then the hula/fire dancers came in (in my dream it made perfect sense for them to be there) and Jenna almost got caught so she pretended to be one of them and put on one of their costumes. When they went up and started their performance she just started mimicking them. She followed the other dancers really well. Me and Alexa were hiding behind the foosball table laughing so hard we almost peed our pants. Then Ben looked directly at me and I woke up.

I got completely spoiled just like I do every year. My sisters all came to the house and my family was all there. My grandma made me a polka dot cake and bought me a massive bag of chips (like the party packs) with some money. If you didn’t know, I am a chip hoarder. My little sister made me bracelets. I’m really happy that she still does because that is what I ask her for at every Christmas and birthday. I love them, and the fact that she makes them for me herself makes them even better. They are just about the only jewelry I will actually wear. My mom got me a cute card and some cash. Jenna has been trying to shop for me but I have been difficult Me and Alexa never buy each other birthday or Christmas presents on the actual day. We just wait til we are out together and just buy things for each other randomly throughout the year. You never know what you’ll get from her or when you’ll get it. It’s a fun surprise every time. Brooke and Andy got me throwing knives I am so stoked about this, you don’t even know. I’m getting a knife launcher now as my next addition to my weapons collection. Then it will be a crossbow. My stunt coach is going to be in heaven with all the new toys we have to work with. I start sword fighting next week which is cool. I got some really sweet notes from friends and fans and a lot of birthday wishes. The fans sent me a new pajama set, dvds, lots of gift cards, and a purse. I skipped dinner but it’s my birthday so I can do that. We went to the fireworks. I thought we were far away because someone was shooting them off a few blocks away but Nick picked a spot right directly under them. When the first firework went off Lexa jumped on Nick and almost knocked his chair over, Brooke jumped on Andy and nearly broke his nose and I dove into my sleeping bag. They were lighting them in the parking lot right in front of where we were sitting about 20 ft away. They had some really cute ones this year. There was one that was purple and gold with lots of sparkles and Nick said “look that one is Andi” because when I die they are going to turn me into a firework. That sent Brooke into a fit of giggles. The fireworks are really loud up close but I love the sound it makes when it echoes off the mountains. Everything is so loud and you can feel it in your stomach and in the ground. It’s kind of scary but fun too. Nick says 27 sucked but it’s been good for me so far I think it’ll be a good year. I told him to let me know how 28 is.

I was hanging out with Jenna because we were going to go to this old people rodeo thing but we missed it and the boys called to hang out. She didn’t want to go so it ended up being just me and the guys like usual. We went mini golfing at Boondock’s. Matt finally confessed that he had taken one of my models out earlier this week. He knew I would be pissed because I always tell my guy friends they can flirt with my friends but my models are off limits. We’ll see how this turns out :-/

Golfing was fun. I really suck at it so I usually don’t play but they told me I had to. RJ has a beard now and for some reason bearded guys playing mini golf struck me as funny so I kept laughing. We were playing crazy golf so at every other hole you have to spin a wheel and it tells you what to do. Right off the bat I got “move another players ball where ever you want” and Kasey got the same thing. Instead of using it to screw up other people Kasey decided to be nice and move my ball right by the hole so I could get it in. Naturally I returned the favor. Matt & RJ called us cheaters I had to granny swing, kick the ball, and do a bunch of other crazy stuff. I had my purse so that threw off my balance. I ended up just swinging one handed like a drunken pirate. I got a hole in one, Kasey got 3 I think. Matt got pissed that he was in last place J After Golf we went to RJ’s to play this game called spades. I have never played before but I was all excited because I got a hand that was basically all spades. I bid high because I forgot about the trump cards. Then I played sloppy because I still wasn’t used to the game and blew a pretty perfect hand. I got in trouble because I kept showing RJ my cards and he wasn’t on my team. I think Kasey tried to save me a few times by playing cards to help me out even though I wasn’t on his team either. Matt and I almost got Boston. If that had happened we would never be able to play on the same team again. The fact that this game has so many weird rules makes me love it even more. Now that I know more of what I am doing they had better watch out because I need to redeem myself

I was babysitting my niece today. Every other weekend she comes and has a sleepover at my house. I took her to the park and this little girl kept hitting her and pulling her hair. Finally my niece got sick of it. The girl pulled her hair and that was the last straw. My niece put the other girl in a headlock. I had to run over and tell her to apologize. She wouldn’t! I was trying really hard not to laugh because that girl’s mom was pissed but her little brat kind of had it coming in my opinion. You can’t pick on people all the time and just expect them to deal with it. When I said she had to be nice my niece was like “but it’s so hard!!!!” lol we had to go home after that because I didn’t want her to be mean to any other kids.

I ended up letting her stay up until 1 because I didn’t realize how late it was, then made the mistake of giving her kool-aid before bed. She was bouncing off the walls for hours and I spent the whole night paranoid that she was going to wet the bed. Neither of us got very much sleep. I share a bed with her and I have also discovered she is an insane sleeper.
