I don’t know why some people have an obsession with what I eat or how often or even how much, but I keep getting asked about it. I got a submission from someone asking me to write a food diary. I personally think what I eat or do not eat is the most boring subject in the world but if that’s what you want to hear about then that’s what I’ll write about. A few tips to get the ball rolling.
DON'T
For starters here are some of the things I don’t eat or drink …ever
- Beer, It will give you the ugliest gut
- Caffeine (only in drink form. I eat it in chocolate)
- Coffee, tea, and energy drinks
- Carbonation
- Milk (I’m not saying this is good for you, it’s just what I do)
- I don’t eat a lot of red meat
- Cold butter on my bread or anything else
*I do take pre-natal vitamins to make up for some of the junk I don’t like to eat.
DO
-Take a daily vitamin
- Drink lots of water
- Drink lots of juice
- Eat a portioned amount of whatever your craving (even if it is cake) that way you won't binge
- Eat the things your body craves
- Add nuts and seeds to your diet
- Switch your steak, bacon, and hamburger for turkey or chicken (or fish
)
I would like to tell you to eat healthy and to write out things that would be a good example for others to follow, but that wouldn’t be honest. I was lucky enough to get the skinny genes from my parents so I eat what I want whenever I want and I don’t put any limits on it. I’m a junk food junkie that loves french fries and potato chips. I half debated making things up to sound healthier because I don’t want anyone following my lead. I will be up front about my naughty habits though. Just please don’t pick them up ok?

And there you have it. 5 days worth of my odd eating habits. I never noticed how much juice I drink! I don’t recommend eating like me. I’m sure it’s not healthy at all. But the list of things I cut out of my diet might help you out (if you don’t cut out the milk). I forget to eat a lot of times, which isn’t good. I also eat a lot of small meals during the day instead of fewer large ones. I tend to eat whatever I feel like. Sometimes that is just straight junk food (like this week) and other times I crave certain fruits or vegetables and a lot of times I crave dairy. I figure that’s my body’s way of telling me what it wants so that’s what I eat. If I want to eat a whole tub of ice cream I do. If I want to eat 3 salads for breakfast I do. It’s just whatever sounds good at the time and I eat til I am satisfied. Please, please, please look into healthy eating options and do not use this as an eating guide!
