Oh man I am SOOO sore! I could barely drag myself up this mountain to write today. Its almost dark (Hope I don’t step on a snake I cant see on my way back!) and I am ready for an early bedtime. We went boarding this morning and the water was like glass. It was so perfect. We got a lot done and I think we have some great video for you guys. We got some really good crashes too. Alexa had a really good face plant and I took a fall so hard I was ripped from the board and went skidding across the water. Fun times. I’m bruised and sore but I feel so good right now. I spent almost all day on my board and to me that equals a great day J I saw a giant snake at lunch. I got close enough to take some pretty good pictures but still stayed on top of a giant rock so he wouldn’t bite me. My cousin crawled under there! She was so close he could have licked her! I was scared to death of course. She has always been a daredevil. As a kid she was always the one talking me into doing crazy things with her like tree jumping, or running down mountains slamming into trees because “that’s the fast way to do it”, going skinny dipping, sneaking up on moose, walking onto a shooting range…. But snake charming is not on my list of things to do in life so she was on her own this time. Luckily no one got hurt and we were back to boarding in no time. Anyway its late, I’m wiped out and we are moving beaches/ going wakeboarding early tomorrow morning. Alexa is going to attempt a flip which should be interesting since she doesn’t land very well as it is. More to come

  We are at a new beach. I still have to climb giant sand mountains to write these blogs but on the bright side my legs and butt are getting a great work out so I’ll be looking better when I get home. We started the morning with an interesting breakfast made by Alexa. Then headed out to the Indian ruins. We put the music on loud and went wakeboarding the whole way over. The water is so low this year we had to go through this swampy section with lots of trees and weeds in the water. It reminds me of the everglades. I had a ton of fun creeping Jenna and Alexa out by telling them creepy stories about bodies and alligators and stuff. They are so gullible its  almost too easy. After we finally battled our way over a rock and through the bushes we still had to climb high into the cliffs to get to the ruins. We had fun pretending we lived there and playing house in the ruins. After we left the ruins we saw a great cliff on the way back so we stopped to go cliff diving. We are always safe about it and have one of the guys dive down and swim along the bottom as far out as they can go in every direction to make sure there are no rocks. We also have them jump to see if its deep and go over the area and look at it in the fish finder. It sounds paranoid but we have plaques on our boat dedicated to people who have died cliff diving. Its totally fun and I think people shouldn’t be afraid to try it but definitely be careful. Anyway so the boys kept peeing and I didn’t know so I may or may not have them peeing in my video :-/ but if I don’t I’ll post it for you guys. On the way back to the house boat I flagged and Alexa of course got back on the wakeboard. Tonight we are grilling steaks and doing a drive in on the canyon wall with the projector. We’ve got Brian Regan and Goonies in the line up. I’m pretty sure I’m going to be hearing ANDI YOU GOONIE!!! All night long.

 I woke up to the sun and breeze today. Sleeping on top of the boat is one of my favorite parts of being here. If you haven’t ever done it I really recommend trying it at least once in your life. Last night was lots of fun as predicted. We practically lit the dang  beach on fire when a stupid breeze blew through and some sparks flew out and a weed caught on fire. We were prepared though and got it out quick. Who’s idea was this right? Brooke decided to do some heathen dance around the fire. I don’t know why but when you see the video I wanted it to make sense. The bats were not biting last night but we managed to accidentally lure one into the boat. The next hour was full of bat chasing fun all around the living room and hallway. I guess that’s what we get for being jerks to poor little bats. Don’t worry though. No animals were harmed in the making of this blog. We caught a ton of toads and lizards today so we made a castle for them. I thought they would run away as soon we put them down but they seemed content to sit and guard the roof like a bunch of gargoyles. The toads were raced and then set free. Mine won. I knew he would J After watching an awesome video on youtube by the tea fairy we decided to try lizard lassoing. It seems ridiculous but it really works! We caught this huge lizard and took turns kissing him just in case that fairy tale might be true (I’m pretty sure you can substitute a lizard for a frog right?) After he had been kissed multiple times by multiple girls it was determined that the little pimp really was a lizard and he was set free.  Finished the day with some more wakeboarding. Again the water was awful. All of us got weird rashes everywhere the water touched. Gross :-/ We are moving to a better beach tomorrow so hopefully that helps the boarding situation.

PS- we dont wear make up at the lake and we dont do much with our hair. Welcome to the land of the beautiful

  HOUSE BOAT TIME!!!! Oh how I have missed tanning, sleeping on the top deck, and most of all WAKEBOARDING! I’m so glad to be back on the boat even if there is sand in my key board. I had to hike up a giant sand hill…correction sand mountain, to get internet service. I love you all enough to hike a mountain just to keep you updated The view up here is great. I am taking pictures as we speak…er type. I will not be in them because I just got back from boarding and let me tell you I’m not looking pretty! We dropped our stuff off at the boat and immediately headed out to wakeboard. Its pretty windy today so the water was so choppy! It was hard enough to stay up right let alone work on any tricks. Sorry guys that video of me jumping the wake is just going to have to wait for better waters. Its getting dark and I hear the coyotes coming out so I better head back down the mountain. Bonfire tonight and bat hunting. It should be good times. XOXO Andi

I used to jump off rocks and hills when I was little so I wanted to go bigger. Unfortunately the water is low in the lake so we couldn’t go too high but this cliff was higher than it looks from the boat so after a group vote it was decided this could count as a small cliff. I’ll cross it off but next year I’m going bigger. *Please be safe if you are going to try this!!! We use the fish finder in the boat to drive over the area looking for rocks etc. we also wear life jackets, and have someone dive in and swim along the bottom in all directions to look for rocks. Our boat has 3 plaques in remembrance of people who have died from cliff diving. Its fun but you have to be smart about it if your going to do it.

   I get asked quite often what daily life is like for me and my roomates. Things are pretty crazy most of the time but its a lot of fun  It seems like one of us is always up to something so there is never an excuse for being bored. I made some videos to let you see how we act behind closed doors

There is a new-ish (ok 2009) addition to the home decor market that is like a mood ring for your house! They are hand made temperature sensitive glass tiles. The colors change according to what touches it like water, air, your hand, etc. You can buy them for about $16 per tile (4x4x3/8) at inventables. Its around $150 a square foot. If you like a certain color or design you can even have tiles custom made to fit your taste.  It is also a green product and uses 20 – 80% recycled glass.  I don’t have a lot of time to be doing pro cheer but its on the list so I decided if I made it I would just have to find a way to make time. Utah Jazz was having auditions and Jenna really wanted to try out so it seemed like now was as good a time as any. When we got there it was a little intimidating. There were a lot of girls and all of them were gorgeous. After a military like stretch session I thought I was going to die and Jenna was pretty sure she had broken her tail bone They lined us up and made us do our technical floor work to start. Most of the girls there nailed it. My kicks could use a bit of work on my left side still but I was surprised that I was able to keep up fairly well since I hadn’t done any technical dancing in a few years. After that we had to do our freestyle. I do hip hop all the time so I thought freestyle would be a breeze. When I got up there they were looking at me like I was nuts. She got up to show me a few of her moves. I don’t know who the heck told her that’s what freestyle was but they need to be locked in a closet! When we started learning out try out routine I could see why she didn’t know what freestyle was. She dances so weird!!! I was trying to behave and follow along but I could not do that dance and be serious. I kept laughing. She gave me dirty looks the whole time. Needless to say I didn’t make the cut. That’s ok though. I think I am meant to be a solo dancer. I’m not much or a Jazz dancer kind of girl. Here is the video of us practicing. 10 pts. If you can guess which one is me.

I trusted Shay so much but I watched everyone slowly turn on her. Its too much for them, they don’t want to clean up the mess. They are 100% right that she is a HUGE liability but I am going to miss her. I know its dumb in most people’s opinion. “She’s more trouble than she’s worth and she cant be trusted.” She is so talented though. Plus, I don’t know, I trusted her. We talked a lot and she really did listen to me. I hate that this happened. I know she drives me crazy and we fight sometimes, but that’s just what happens when your around someone a lot right? I fight with my sisters all the time, but it doesn’t mean we aren’t close. I HATE, I mean absolutely HATE eliminating a team member. Its like disowning a sibling. I get so close to them that it kills when I have to cut someone. I got into this to help people’s dreams become a reality but lately it just seems like I am the one crushing them. I don’t think I am cut out for this. I don’t want to be sneaky, or underhanded and I hate that every model suddenly becomes my enemy just because we work for rival companies. I have to watch my back constantly, I cant trust anyone, I cant have real friends and I cant just talk or hang out like everyone else does. Everything I do is somehow related to the team. I have to have loyalties and pick sides and the worst part is that the people who are supposed to be friends are constantly trying to take you down or take your place. I miss the days when I could go to the park with my friends and we could talk about anything we wanted and I could trust them with anything, If I had a bad day it was ok to vent and I could be friends with anyone I wanted. I feel like I am sucked dry. Everyone needs something and it never ends. I don’t know what I have left to give. I often wonder what’s going to happen when I have nothing left to give them.

Last night I dreamed that I lived in these really ghetto apartments. One day as I was leaving the parking garage I saw a bunch of people from my building hiding in there. I thought it was weird but I just left anyway. Later I found out they robbed me. They kidnapped me and took me on this road trip with them and I was really pissed.  I was yelling at them and saying how could they rob me when they already knew I was poor and asked why they took a bunch of stuff that didn't even matter. When we got to this house of a relative they were visiting I ran into the woods, got bit by a vampire and became really strong and invincible. I went back to the house and the tied up the guy that had been the meanest to me. Then I flicked each of his fingers one at a time. I was really strong so it broke a finger every time I did that to him. Then I woke up. How messed up huh? I mean, the guy was a jerk and everything but I can't believe I broke his fingers!
