Ok everyone are you ready to get Untamed in Vegas this weekend?! I'm so excited for everyone to get out here so the party can start. First of all I'm wishing a very happy birthday to Alexa. Here's to knowing you for 20 some odd years. I <3 you  Since we have such a huge group going and its mixed with people who will all be doing a bit of their own thing we thought it might be fun to have a photo scavenger hunt. Your all invited to play....yes even those of you that had to stay home for work or couldnt make it. You can play too. Here is how it works.

1. You will need a digital camera and at least 3 people to form a team *we'll make exceptions for people that arent in Vegas and we'll let let them do teams of 2.

2. You will have to send us an email at untamed_studio@yahoo.com so we can send you the list of items for your scavenger hunt

3. The game will begin Feb. 18 and will continue until Feb.22 everyone will have until then to take photos of them with their list items. On Feb. 22 each team must have one of their members upload the photos to a facebook album labeled Scavenger hunt and tag Alexa facebook.com/untamedalexatyler We will upload everyones pictures to the facebook page and let people vote. Which ever team gets the most votes wins the trophy.

                    HERE ARE THE RULES OF THE SCAVENGER HUNT

1- Each item is worth one point. Some items have a +2 bonus. All team members (minus the one taking the photo) must be in the photos or it is only worth 1/2 a point. The team members must take turns being the photographer. Only one person has to being doing the item in the photo but the whole team has to be in it. Ex. if it says wear a mask, only one person has to wear a mask but the whole team has to be in it. They can wear masks too or just do random poses.

2- No taking photos of photos

3- For every photo that requires you to use a stranger you must use a new stranger

4- Each photo can only count as one list item. Ex. If the list said pose like an opera singer and then said wear a burger king crown and you wore a crown while pretending to sing you can only count it as one or the other.

5- Every team must have a name

6- Every team must consist of 3 people or more

7- You can earn one bonus point for every awesome "laying down" picture you take. Basically that just means laying facedown. People will vote for their favorites and that will determine who gets the extra points. Ex. shown below

8-no photo shopping images

9- all photos must be turned in by the deadline to count

10- team with the most points wins. If there is a tie a list of 5 bonus items will be issued.

Not tweeting has been so much easier since I got a tweet slave. Oh yes, that is why I love making bets. She has been tweeting OA for me which is good because its a good cause. We got our newest shirts today so I was pretty psyched about that. I've been spending a ton of time in the studio learning a bunch of new stuff. I 'm learning that I LOVE lighting. I'm obsessed with it. Oh and I also learned that I hate portrait photography. It makes me want to fall asleep. I've learned all about building sets and setting white balance...stuff like that. Its ok but everything feels so planned and stiff. I like going outside and having free range to shoot from any angle or position that I want whether it means climbing a ladder or lying in the dirt. I HATE traditional posing. Posing as a model is one thing but those stiff un-natural and boring poses they have people do in portrait photography studios are a snooze fest! It's still good for me to learn all this though. We had some time off work before Dew tour so I went to the planetarium with the girls and we took kids with us. I didnt know you could have your picture taken on the moon but as I found out you can guess I was pretty excited about it. We met some guys at the mall that is attached to the planetarium and they were sliding head first down the escalator. Of course we had to give it a try. Its a little scary but not too bad. Then we took turns freaking people out pretending to fall down the stairs. We shouldnt find it  as funny as we do. Yay for immaturity right I watched Open Season 3 with my niece. Its pretty lame. They had a pretty funny part with the bear and the rabbit but I added it here so you wont have to bother watching the whole movie. Guess whats coming up this weeked?! Dew Tour!!! I'm stoked! You have no idea. I get to go see my friends plus I wont lie I love the swag I met some girls that will be competing so we are going to go hang out with them. I dont get to stay the whole time though because I will be leaving for  Vegas soon. I'm going early for a shoot and to visit some of my old "porn star" friends and then the girls will get out there a few days later so we can celebrate Alexa's birthday. Vegas is about to get Untamed. Are the rest of you getting excited for Valentines Day? I'm still looking for a valentine. Want to be mine this year I ♥ you guys.

At least thats what they will think in third world countries when all those Steelers championship tshirts get donated to them. Congrats on the sub par season Steelers. I was working but I still got to see a lot of the game. Both teams were making football look like a joke. Kicking the football into their faces, spitting their gum onto their headset, and throwing/kicking like aiming is just something they are too cool to bother doing. Oh well. I chose to go for the Steelers because they are from pittsburgh and even though they lost their still from Pittsburgh so I guess I cant be upset. The food was my favorite part of the whole thing. That and Bridgestone tires commercials Did anyone else think BEP totally blew it? Half time performance scores 2 out of 5 sandwichs as Brooke and I would say. We have just started this sandwich rating system and its working out pretty well for us. Who would have guessed people can scale how good something was by how many sandwiches it recieved.  I wish I could have stayed in Dallas longer but it was a quick trip this time. It felt like I had just landed and then there I was getting back on a plane to go home. Luckily I've learned some travel secrets like sleep and freshen up on the plane so I can hit the ground running when we land. Brooke and I stopped by the store to get some stuff for Vegas and saw a pregnancy test. We heard a  story that a dr. pepper can pass a pregnancy test so we decided to test it out. We made a video for you.

OMG I did it but it almost killed me! Ok that is an exaggeration but it was REEEALLLY hard. I am pretty addicted to twitter. I did learn to mellow out from the experience so now I’m not as bad. Plus I am more of a tumblr junkie anyway I did it though so that’s what counts

              
1- A book. Being isloated like that will drive a person crazy if they are there long enough. Reading the book over and over would at least give me something to stay sane

2- An aluminum space blanket to carry stuff, stay warm, and possibly signal for help with

3- A hatchet. I'm good at throwing them and I know I could hunt with it plus I could use it to help make shelter.

4- flint and steel. Well duh lol

5- a first aid kit with a variety of things but still small enough to be portable

The house is freezing!!! I should be going outside and being active but in this weather I dont like to go out if I dont have to. I'm being a wuss. On the bright side I leave for Dallas soon! I cant wait. You all know how I love Texas. I always have the strangest adventures there. To heat up the house while I'm still here I decided to bake some cookies and cinnamon rolls. Dont you love the smell of baking cookies? I also made some seven layer dip. I've just been a little "Betty homemaker" all week (thats what the girls are calling it). Hey at least I didnt light anything on fire lol

I'm still having major twitter withdrawls. I knew I used it a lot but I didnt realize how much. I use it to vent and also for every sarcastic comment I think of but cant say...which is a lot. I guess I'll get over as time goes on right? I have been reading a lot while I multi-task and discovered.

1- I am not looking for an orange at the moment. Actually I dont know if I'll ever get to that point. An orange is going to have sneak up on me

2- I am very girly but somewhere along the line the wiring in my brain got messed up and I ended up thinking like a boy. 

3- The biggest lesson learned from all this? People put too much unnecessary drama in relationships and create problems that arent really there. Maybe its because they are bored? I dont know, but if they focused more on having fun and living in the moment without labeling everything and filling it with expectations they would be much happier.

If this makes no sense to you its because you have not read Meeting your half orange. Its a good book for all you girly girls out there. It would probably work much better for me if I didnt think like such a boy!

The guys talked me into giving up twitter, tv, texting, and facebook for a month. I'm addicted to Twitter especially so at first I told them no way. I also argued that I wouldnt be able to get work done if clients couldnt get in contact with me. After quite a bit of negotiating I talked them into letting me keep my blog and my ustream/formspring.  All in all I think we worked out a fair trade. Since I have the superbowl party in Dallas this month and wine tasting in California, then Vegas for Alexa's birthday I am pretty sure I will be on here a lot (especially since this is my only form of communication!)
