I’m so competitive naturally but Lex really brings it out in me. We are both tiny girls so people think we never eat but we can eat way more than people think we can. When we have eating contests she always wins by a landslide. I have been trying to beat her but so far no luck. While we were at a friends house we somehow got on the subject of how many twinkies a person could eat in one sitting. Our friend TDO (that’s not his really name obvs) said he knew a guy that could eat 10. He felt like he could eat more than that. Now, TDO is one of those germ-a phobe types that wont drink tap water. He acts like your trying to give him anti-freeze or something. So we made a bet with him if we could eat more twinkies than him he had to drink tap water. He took the bet so we went and got a few boxes of twinkies. He got to 6 and started gagging. They are really sweet and the filling is disgusting! At 8 he had to call it quits. I got to 12 before I threw in the towel and Alexa got 14!!! That is so nasty she deserves the win! Now TDO has to drink tap water and I have yet to beat Alexa but I was a lot closer than I usually get. I’ll beat her one of these days. I really think turkey ranch sandwiches or buffalo wings or fries  are the magic food. I can eat so many of those!

I did it!!!! I FINALLY beat Alexa! Every year we go to the Lake and one of the games we play is this one where we find big rocks along the bottom and try to run along the bottom while carrying the rock. We try to go from the anchor rope to the back of the boat and the one to get there first wins. She always beats me by just a little bit. This year Jenna got disqualified right off the bat because she found a big rock so she swam to the bottom to get it and used all her strength to quick off the bottom with it raised almost above her head. She popped out of the water and was like “hey guys look” glug, glug, glug…and sank back to the bottom. Me and Lex just started laughing at her since that’s pretty blonde even for Jenna. She didn’t come up right after that though. We had to dive in and get her since the rock pinned her foot to the ground when it went down. Don’t worry she’s ok. That disqualified her and got her kicked out of the water for a few hours. Brooke doesn’t like to get her hair/face wet so she never plays this game. That left it just me and Alexa. So she got the rock and went running across the bottom. She did pretty good but this year I came up with a new move I like to call the otter. It saved me a few seconds and I beat her J Say hello to your new underwater running champ lol

Tonight was all about the after parties. It was really packed but I had a good time just hanging out with the girls and dancing. I'm dumb though. I was the one with the camera and I kept taking pictures but forgot to take pictures of myself. FAIL! I did get pictures of me and Brooke hanging out that morning since we had some free time. We went to the competitions to see how everyone did. I think my friend Ryan is going to win it. Not Sheckler but Decenzo

We switched to a new company today and things were SO much better! We were promoting for a card game called Super Heat. They are from LA and it's a pretty fun game. The people we were working with were really cool and we had a lot of fun working the booth. The boys got stuck over at Toyota for the rest of the week so I feel kinda bad for them. Asiah is going to come out tommorrow to cover one spot for Toyota too. Ber is over at Sony and Playstation with the two new girls. The autograph session for our booth was today. It was packed! There were so many people I could barely move. Sheckler and Mario Saenz stopped by and gave me hugs. I was really happy to see them. I wish we could have had time to hang out but I was working. Mario was competing so I was bummed that I was going to miss it.

On my lunch I accidentally got a ton of networking done. I was just talking to people but we got offered a lot of new jobs so I'm pretty stoked about it. Rockwell has an event coming up and wants us to come out. I can't even tell you how excited I am about that. We got some swag bags but you can tell it's a recession. They aren't as good this year as they have been in the past.

We got our badges so tonight we went out to watch the dirt bikes. There were a few crashes but over all the guys were doing pretty good. Afterward we went to The Used concert. It was nice and small so there were enough people for it to be fun but it was small enough you could get right up close. Andy was worried Brooke would get hurt so they stayed toward the back but I wanted to get up front so I went into the crowd. I made my way up to the frint/middle and all of a sudden Bert says they are going to start a mosh pit. I was right there! So, when in Rome  The guys at this concert were pushing girls and stuff but it wasnt way bad. I have heard of it getting pretty insane at other concerts. This one was just right for me. After the mosh I was pushed up against the gate at the very very front. It's really weird not to be working the concert and up on stage. It's a whole different experience but kinda fun. We crowd surfed a little and I got kicked in the head by a guy that was crowd surfing but we threw him over the fence. I got squashed by an armpit which was pretty gross and licked by a drummer but all in all I had a good time. They did a bull run and I did my best to record it. I got some pictures and video but my camera died in the middle  Today was SOOO much better than yesterday!

We were working the Toyota booth this year. I was surprised to see them back since they had some people get a little crazy last year. I had the boys come with us this time. Who ever they have doing the marketing plan for Toyota is an idiot. Sorry, it needed to be said. They aren't being smart AT all! First of all 90% of the people attending this event are under 18 and do not have their parents with them so trying to sell them a toyota is pretty useless. Toyota has a bunch of games set up to give out swag but each game station is a different car. There are 5 cars and the people have to climb into the car and sit down to play. This slows everything down because you can only fit so many people into a hot, nasty, sweaty car. but wait, it gets dumber. It would be one thing if these games are something you have to get in the car to play but they make no sense. Like one of the games has a giant poster. On one side is a picture with skateboarders etc. Your average skate event photo. On the other side it's the same photo but with some weird thing added. Like a giant gorrilla in the crowd or something. So a bunch of kids have to file into the car. Then one of us has to hold up the poster to the windshield until they point to the weird thing. Then we flip it over to show them if they are right or not and they all get out of the car. REALLY??!! We couldn't have just done that from outside the car? Ugh I never want to work for this company again. Like I said, whoever did this marketing plan needs to be fired and also needs a refresher course in business. ANYWAY, sorry that was my frustrated rant.

I got stuck working the ipads car. People climbed in and there was an app that took all their info, took a picture, and printed out a little Dew Tour souviner badge for them.Well it was really hot and the ipads kept over heating and losing signal since we were using wi-fi so people were getting pissed. The printer had more problems than I could count. A bunch of people were yelling at me because they thought it took too long or they deleted their profile and had to start over. It was not a good time.

We were pretty tired by the end of the day so we were only going to watch the end of some of the skaters and go home but then Toyo reps took our badges and said we could have them in the morning. They aren't supposed to do that but they did. Without our badges we have to pay to get into stuff so we just went home. I was so done with Toyota. I ended up trading to a new company for the rest of the event but I was still booked to work the after party and couldnt get out of it

Most of the day was filled with boat parties, cliff diving, wakeboarding, tubing and playing on "the blob". We were launching people so high off that thing! The boys were having a lot of fun on the ramp too but we didnt try that one.

We finally got to meet up with the crew so things were going much better. We went boarding all day then had a foam party and fire that night and played some flaming jump rope. The trip was finally starting to be fun

We started the morning off with a flood. During the night the trap on the toilet didnt shut all the way and it just kept pumping in lake water. It filled the tank and flooded :-/ Then Brad had pink eye. I blame karma. Thats what you get when you shoot poor little mice that you could have set free on the beach somewhere....

Alexa was supposed to come out here today but as soon as she heard there were a lot of snakes on the beach and heard about all the other problems we were having she said to forget it. So we stayed by the marina for nothing. *sidenote we hate the marina area because its really busy so the water sucks for wakeboarding, the beaches are packed, and the water gets oil in it from being close to the fuel stations so you get rashes like a mofo!

We usually sleep on top of the boat but it got really windy during the night so we ended up having to crowd into the downstairs part. I slept on the kitchen counter.

I sometimes bring friends to Lake Powell with me so this year I brought Asiah. Everyone else brought their boyfriends so it was basically a couples trip :-/ I brought Asiah so we could make fun of the others but she tried to pull the yawn and drop in the car so Idk... lol (the yawn and drop is when they yawn, stretch their arm up, then drop it around your shoulder). We had a lot of things go wrong. Right off the bat we found out there were mice on the boat. Not even cool! There was one under the couch and Brooke started screaming so Brad came and shot the poor thing. Then the idiot (Brad) grabbed it with his bare hand to try and catch it. It died

Fast forward to tommorrow....

I'm feeling like an old soul today. For no real reason I feel myself getting worked up over all the thoughts that just wont seem to go away. Things I thought didnt matter. I was reading and all of a sudden there were the lyrics to Bob Dylan. The times they are a changin....

My heart beat so heavy in my chest just then. I guess I just think too much...

Some days I just want to bury things so deep down that I never have to think of them again. Other days I just want to yell to anyone that will listen, THIS IS MY LIFE. I talk all day and everyone thinks they know every little part of my life, all the details out there for the world to see, and yet they don't know anything. I dont know if I love this or hate it. I haven't made up my mind yet.

Guess I'm just as confused as ever
